Rust Boards has an unmodded community server that is online 24/7 and open to the public.

King County is a survival server where all bets are off and survival rests solely in your hands. You may choose to make alliances or try to cut it on your own, but either way one thing is certain: there's no way out. Radioactively mutated zombies have begun overrunning the towns, making it difficult to get supplies. None of the buildings out there are safe anymore, you'll have to construct your own bases of operation and hope you chose a good spot, raiders are ruthless.
Race to the Drop Event
Our server features a world event run by the admins. All willing players prepare for a deathrace as the supply plane (possibly more than one) is called in. Restricted to melee, bows, unmodded pistols & clothwear, the last man standing gets the crates. Be wary, as you're racing you may encounter players not involved in the race, animals, and zombies. You may die before you even reach the drop zone, where death is almost certain. Bring only items you need.
Other events and gameplay/combat rewards are being established as things progress.
Server FAQ
Q: Do I have to PvP?
A: You have to fight back to survive. PvE is encouraged as well!
Q: What does "Sleepers" mean?
A: When you log out, your character falls asleep in that spot, laying helplessly on the ground until you log in and wake up.
Q: Is this a clan server?
A: Not currently, though we are open to the idea of forming one.
